Known for his boundless energy and enthusiasm, Russ lives for the deal and enjoys connecting people and projects to the resources needed to succeed. One of downtown Minneapolis' most ardent advocates, Russ played a significant role in bringing countless downtown projects to reality — including the Downtown Improvement District and Target Field. Across the river, Russ and his wife, Nancy, spend many hours raising funds for Como Friends and Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation.

As President and Principal of NTH, Russ has more than 30 years of experience providing corporate and nonprofit real estate services in the Twin Cities. A few of his recent clients include the Star Tribune, U.S. Bank, Xcel Energy, and The Minneapolis Foundation. His industry leadership was recognized when he received the Best in Real Estate Career Achievement Award from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

Russ was recently named one of 100 People to Know in 2016 by Twin Cities Business.

Russ is active on a variety of boards, including Regions Hospital, Itasca Project, GREATER MSP, Minneapolis Club, and U.S. Bank Twin Cities Advisory Board.

Paul is active with Urban Land Institute of Minnesota's Next 10 group. He serves on the board of Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) — Upper Midwest Region.

Tech savvy and LEED accredited, Nick brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. His project experience includes Moss & Barnett, Norwest Equity Partners, and Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies.

Nick is involved with U.S. Green Building Council — MN Chapter, and Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers with Open Arms of Minnesota and the American Red Cross. When he's not honing his project management skills or giving back to the community, Nick enjoys exploring the great outdoors.

Emily Richardson

Emily brings a strong background in architectural design and historic preservation. After earning her bachelor of design in architecture and a minor in housing studies from the University of Minnesota’s College of Design, Emily moved south to sunny Savannah, Georgia, where she earned her masters of arts in historic preservation from the Savannah College of Art and Design’s School of Building Arts.

Her experience ranges from adaptive reuse plans to historic tax credit and feasibility projects. While at the University of Minnesota, she researched flexible workspace alternatives and collected preliminary data on space configuration.

Emily provides exceptional value to our clients. Her projects include CHS Field, St. Paul Academy's Huss Center for the Performing Arts, and Spencer Stuart.

Terry Tinnes

Director of Administration

Terry's versatile expertise spans a variety of areas at NTH, including accounting, information technology, and human resources. Her keen eye for detail and thorough, dedicated demeanor make her a great asset to the firm.

Terry enjoys troubleshooting technology issues and researching the best solutions for any challenge that surfaces. Whether she's managing the financial activities of the firm, or overseeing personnel matters, Terry handles every situation with courtesy and professionalism.
